Love is NOT blind.
It's just willing to overlook flaws in the other person.

If you fell in love with a serial killer, it doesn't mean your love is blind.
It just means you didn't investigate his background before falling in love with him.

And if you still love him even after you find out he is a serial killer, it means you're willing to overlook the fact that he is a serial killer (which is rather stupid as you might get killed but that's beside the point).

It does not, repeat, DOES NOT, make your love blind.

Of course, him being a serial killer might piss you off and make you lecture him to stop being one (which might result in you getting killed again) but if you stay with him though you hate his serial-killerness, it doesn't mean you're susceptible to his charms. Or that you're blind to it.

You KNOW his flaws are there. You accept that he's a serial killer. But you don't care because you love him. Wait, rephrase. You DO care that he's a serial killer. But you just don't want to leave him because you love him.

If love were really blind, you won't even acknowledge that he's a serial killer, even if he danced naked on a table waving a bright pink thong in size L and spouted out the number of victims he's killed.

Therefore.
"Love is blind" is one of the silliest love quotes I have ever heard. :)

And THAT is why I insist love is NOT blind.
If you insist it is, kindly send a response and then I'll reply with another comeback and we can have a jolly old debate cos I need smtg to take my mind off studying. :D
